Indonesia is one of the world's largest mango producer with total national production of 2.2 million tons in 2017. Traditional farming methods, lack of information about the use of agricultural technology are some of the main cause of low productivity.

PRISMA and its partners worked to increase mango production outside the harvest season, promote good agricultural practices, encourage more effective and affordable pest and disease management, as well as demonstrate and train the use of cutting manipulation technology that enables mango plants to flower early. The partnerships also established several Learning Centers in East Java and West Nusa Tenggara.

Up to December 2018, 8,969 mango smallholder households in East Java and West Nusa Tenggara experienced increased income with a total amount of IDR 40.2 billion.

PRISMA does not continue to work in this sector, based on the analysis results of sector's performance and achievement
